Nobody arrives in space work by a straight line.

Behind every person in this industry is a story of doubt, detours and stubborn hope — a teacher who noticed them, a setback that nearly ended it, a moment they decided to keep going anyway. Those stories almost never get written down. So a kid who can't see a path assumes there isn't one.

The Stardust Generation is our answer. Each chapter is one person's true account: where they started, what got in the way, and what they'd say to someone standing where they once stood. Anyone here can write one. Share it and the whole community can read it straight away — no waiting on an editor, no approval queue. Our editors read everything and choose a set for each printed edition, but that is not what makes a story worth writing. The one that reaches somebody might be any of them.

When it's finished we're giving it away: free to schools and libraries, translated into as many languages as we can, so that a child anywhere can read it and recognise themselves.
