v1.0 · IN FORCE SINCE 31 JULY 2026

Guardian Information

For parents, guardians and teachers.

For parents, guardians and teachers

Your young person has an account on Stardust Odyssey, a space-education

platform. Here's what that means in practice.

What starts switched off

Under-18 accounts begin limited. Until you approve them, your child can learn,

take courses and earn certificates — but **posting publicly, direct messaging

and live rooms stay off**.

You approve through a link we email you. You don't need an account, and you can

approve some things and not others:

  • Posting and the community feed
  • Direct messages with friends
  • Joining live events and rooms

What else protects them

  • Under-16s don't get the public community feed at all.
  • Under-18 profiles are private by default.
  • Detailed browsing records are deleted after 30 days — and for anyone whose

age we don't know, not just for those we know are children.

  • Every post, comment, message and profile has a report control that reaches a

real person.

  • We don't advertise, so we never profile children for advertising.

Live video

Live rooms run on Stardust's own servers, not a third-party service. Sessions

aren't recorded unless everyone is told.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your child's data at any time, or withdraw

your approval. Email contact@stardustinc.ca.

If you're worried about something

Email contact@stardustinc.ca. If it concerns your child's immediate safety, say

so in the subject line and it goes to the top of the queue.
