Canada has a World Space Week National Coordinator for the first time, and it is me.
World Space Week runs 4 to 10 October. The United Nations declared it in 1999, for the launch of Sputnik 1 on 4 October 1957 and the Outer Space Treaty coming into force on 10 October 1967. It is the largest annual space event in the world, and this year's theme is Rocket Revolution.
The coordinator part is Canada. What we are offering is not. Any organiser in any country can run an activity through Stardust and we cover it: the platform, the materials and a live event page, free. Your activity gets registered on the official global calendar. Every organiser and participant gets 90 days of Stardust Plus, and organiser teams get a free team dashboard with planning space, chat, event pages and mentors, before, during and after the week.
